Meetings
The Guild is committed to having a relaxed atmosphere where various topics and issues about Decoupage can be discussed.
We have members show and tell days where various members can bring in their latest projects and have a chat about their works.
Guest speakers are also a lively part of our General Meeting where our members get to hear the latest happenings from professionals within their fields. Workshops are also an active part of the day, members can learn new techniques and expand their Decoupage experience.
Workshops are conducted by a chosen artist covering such topics as; Surface preparation, Lacquering and sanding, Painting backgrounds, Extending your images, Layout and design, marbling and wood grains, etc. etc. Members are encouraged to take part in the hands on sessions or learn the techniques from demonstrations given.
Also at every meeting we endeavour to have traders show their latest wares giving members the opportunity to purchase all their decoupage supplies.
